Living in Tampa Bay is like living nearby Muara Karang in Jakarta, Indonesia. Both cities are located by the sea, so seafood is a common fanfare for everyone.

On one lovely evening I decided to visit Castaway Restaurant in Tampa. Famous for its gourmet meals and panoramic sunset view large windows, Castaway is a perfect relaxing dining place after a hard day of work.

At first when I glanced at the menu it was hard to choose just one entree, since everything looks so good. Then I found an interesting-sounding meal, Seafood Collage. The explanation for this unique dish is a big heap of angel hair pasta adorned with one half lobster tail, some bay scallops, and shrimp with special seasonings.

I could smell the savory aroma of this dish before the waiter even put it on the table. And when it did arrive on my table, I actually had to tell myself great gourmet food like this is supposed to be enjoyed without a rush. Let me tell you, it was awesome! Although the seasoning is a bit too salty for my taste, the lobster, bay scallops, shrimp and angel hair pasta combination was just perfect. The sauce was creamy, yet it did not taste too heavy because of the Italian accent.

Castaway Restaurant is a classy formal dining place, and the ambiance is peaceful, quiet and romantic. There is no loud music in the background, and everything they serve from entree to dessert are adorable in addition to being edible. To ensure their patrons experience the best dinner at Castaway Restaurant, the staffs there always have a smile for every customer.
